Eric Joseph Odenthal
Eric is a California native now transplanted in the one of a kind landscape of Moab, UT. From his early years as a rock climber and outdoor enthusiast (thanks to his parents Doug and Linda), he began to see places through the lens and wanted to share with his friends. With positive support from his friends it was the needed motivation to continue on his path to enjoy the beauty that is photography. A self-taught photographer, Eric is driven by the passion and art of photography, the search for a new perspective and developing old and new techniques, waiting for things to line up.

He has traveled many many miles by foot, vehicle and vertical rope, photographing rock climbing, canyoneering, unbelievable landscapes, events and weddings. Being a photographer and climbing guide with his business Windgate Adventures (link on top of page) in Moab, he is able to introduce people to the world that he enjoys and loves.
Eric uses Canon products. He currently shoots with a 5D and 20D high resolution digital SLR cameras.
